Work for an overseas employer
Explore Work Where You Vacation, the official long-stay program for eligible people employed outside Belize. Review its income, insurance, document and eligibility conditions and obtain approval through the published process.
Employment or self-employment in Belize
Review the Temporary Employment Permit process. The applicant and employer roles depend on the work arrangement. A business entry visa is not itself a general authorization to work.
Other activities
Volunteering, religious activity, entertainment and seasonal work can fall under distinct permit categories. Explain the actual activity, duration and employer or host organization when requesting advice. Do not rely only on whether you are paid.
