Obtain the permit before the school year or semester begins. Primary/secondary permits cover a school year; tertiary permits cover a semester. Apply at Immigration with a school letter, passport, birth certificate, photographs and support evidence. Parent/guardian authorization and sponsor identity/status may be required. Homeschooling needs Ministry of Education documentation. Translate documents that are not in English.
