Start with the passport you will use
Use the official nationality table rather than assuming all travelers from your country of residence have the same rules. A qualifying visa or residence card for another country may affect whether you need a Belize visa.
Separate three questions
- Do I need a visa before travel?
- How long will I be permitted to stay when admitted?
- Does my planned activity require a separate permit?
A visa exemption answers the first question. It does not automatically answer the others. Keep a copy of the permission issued at arrival and note the expiry date.
Prepare a travel folder
Keep your passport, travel plans, accommodation information and any relevant supporting records organized. Check the requirements applicable to your family members individually. If you need more time after arrival, review the visitor-extension route before your permission expires.
